Community pressure has pushed the government to commit to a poverty reduction strategy and they are currently organizing meetings across the province. Now we need community action to ensure that it’s a strong plan with legislated targets and timelines.

BC has the highest population of poverty in Canada… poverty is a violation of our human dignity. MNBC is looking to our Métis people to participate and share in this very important engagement session on how to reduce poverty in our province. Your input matters.
