PRAC’s upcoming November meeting planning holiday season campaign

Nov. 27, 2013 PRAC Meeting ad

Did you know B.C. has had the highest poverty rate in Canada for the last 13 years? And, did you know this could be easily fixed through a comprehensive Poverty Reduction Plan? Join the Poverty Reduction Action Committee (PRAC) and help make it happen!

PRAC meetings are free and open to everyone, where you have the opportunity of learning about the Poverty Reduction Coalition’s work, connect with like-minded folks, and access resources to gain (or develop) experience in community organizing. This is your chance to help address poverty in B.C. at its roots. Doesn’t it sound great?!

Come to our upcoming meeting to learn more!

When: November 27, 2013, 6:30-8:30 PM
Where: Collingwood Neighbourhood House (5288 Joyce St., one block South of Joyce Skytrain Station)

People of all ages are welcome. Refreshments will be provided.

At this upcoming meeting, we will discuss ideas for launching a holiday season campaign. Please check out the PRAC’s sub-committee meeting notes from last week here, and fill out this survey to give us your input on which ideas you like the best.
