It’s now been a month since the provincial election and I’d like to thank you for all your hard work during the election campaign. You helped make poverty a significant election issue! It was one of the most talked about issues throughout the campaigning period and every political party had to respond to your concerns. Thank you for raising your voice during that critical time!

In the meantime, there’s some important news and updates in the latest e-newsletter: Doctors prescribe raising income; Child labour is no accident; Nunavut passes Collaboration for Poverty Reduction Act; Calgary endorses poverty reduction strategy; Surrey Poverty Reduction Coalition.
